FIGHTING FOR DADS SINCE 1992

Joshua Foreman

Attorney at Law

King and Snohomish Counties
State of Washington

I started representing Dads in child custody fights in 1992.

I won custody of two little girls for a Dad who worked 65 hours per week versus a stay-at-home mom who was represented by Les Ponomarchuk.

The DADS of Washington organization found out and started referring their members to me; ever since then, representing Dads has been my specialty.

Attorneys have to go back to school in order to keep their licenses; this is called Continuing Legal Education (CLE).

The lawyers who are the best at what they do are the speakers, the ones who teach the other lawyers.

I am a regular CLE speaker about fathers custody fights, including:

-- "How to Win Custody for Dad" (WSFLBA CLE),

-- I represented Dad in a Child Relocation Act mock trial at a King County

Bar Association CLE (I won),

-- I've spoken about how to quickly and effectively defend against false accusations of domestic violence -- three times so far (in King, Snohomish,

and Clark Counties), and

-- I will speak to the 2010 Washington State Bar Association Family Law Section's Mid-Year about "How to Win a Custody Fight."

My other CLE presentations include:

-- "Top Ten Ethics Mistakes Made by Family Law Attorneys," (WSFLBA)

-- "Evidence and Civil Procedure for Family Law Attorneys," Snohomish County Bar Association Family Law Section (with Karl Tegland, January 2010)

-- "Computers and the Internet for Family Law Attorneys," Snohomish County Bar Association Family Law Section (with Karl Tegland, February 2010)

It's been more than 17 years since I started specializing in representing Dads, and now some other lawyers are advertising themselves in the yellow pages as experts in representing Dads.

Ask them how many times they have been CLE speakers!

My degrees:
B.S. (w/honors), California Institute of Technology (Pasadena, CA)
A.M., Harvard University (Cambridge, MA)
J.D., University of Washington School of Law (Seattle, WA)

I am admitted to practice in all Washington State Courts and the

United States District Court for the Western District of Washington.
